First off, a quick note to the organizers of the Galway Film Fleadh- if I ever again submit work to your festival please automatically reject it, as I will have lost my fucking mind and the work in question will doubtlessly reflect this.
Right, onto Three Sisters-related news. The film's soundtrack has been released on CD by Wil-Ru Records, and is also available on Spotify and Bandcamp. The CD, which comes with an amazing fold-out design, is available through the store section of this site.
In the last week we've gotten confirmation of two Irish screenings. We'll be one of only six features showing as part of the UnderGround Film Festival in Cork. The festival runs for a week at the end of August, and seems to be going from strength to strength, with this year being the first they've accepted features. That screening will be the Irish premiere.
We'll also be screening as part of the Underground Cinema Film Festival in Dun Laoghaire in mid September. The people who run this festival have worked tirelessly over the last few years to promote independent films (and have also set up a successful drive-in cinema), and it's great to be back involved with them after screening The Gingerbread Men as part of the 2012 festival.
The two festivals have quite similar names, but are distinct entities. They also take place in different parts of the country in different months, so if you find yourself confused by their names, please don't attend any screening, as you'll likely struggle to understand the plot.
I'll post specific details on the screenings as soon as they're confirmed. If you're a fan of giallo films, or are a close friend or family member of someone involved and can't think of an excuse to get out of attending, I'll see you there.
