Dáire McNab (writer/cinematographer/director/editor/producer)
Dáire McNab was born in Dublin in 1985. He attended Trinity College in Dublin between 2003 and 2007, and while there became heavily involved in the college Filmmakers Society. Shortly after graduating with a degree in Film Studies and English Literature, one of his short films, Nirvana, won first place in the National Student Film Festival in UCD. He shot his debut feature film, a horror called The Farm, in the summer of 2008. The film went on to be released across North America by Brain Damage films. His second film, The Gingerbread Men, a dark comedy, followed two years later, and was self-released in Ireland by McNab. Both films were self-financed, with budgets of just above €10,000. The Three Sisters is his third feature film.
